For a week, Accent Sister’s gallery is Alison Long's crusty dysfunctional bedroom. A selection of work from exhausted artists will rot alongside Alison in the liminal world of restless paralysis.

During the opening day, Alison will be performing bed-rotting for a live audience. Audience can interact with her by DMing her Instagram reels to watch or offering her takeout food.
Jiaba Supper Club will be partnering with the event as the creative caterer with a special menu designed for the exhibition. Food and drink tickets are available for purchase at online registeration and at the event

Leftover Snacks — Crackers & Dips (nf)
Pantry staples and those containers of dips in the back of your fridge.
A trio of dips (Chinese tinned fish salad, liver pate, roasted genmaicha butter) with crackers
Instant Ramen — Stir-fried Spicy Indomie with Egg, Cabbage, and Wood Ear Mushrooms (v*)(nf)
A trusty pack of quick, salty noodles.
Indomie, egg, cabbage, homemade chili oil, chicken skin crumble*, wood ear mushroom salad.
Stale Carbs — Red Bean & Popcorn Bread Pudding (nf)
The loaf of bread you forgot you bought and the popcorn you opened last week.
Homemade red bean paste, brioche bread, popcorn-infused sweet custard.
Highball Concoction — Spiced Vodka Milk Punch (v)(nf)
Rotting is better with a drink.
Lemongrass vodka, clarified coconut milk cordial, ginger ale, tamarind, spices, mint.

Jiaba is a contemporary supper club focused on seasonally-focused cuisine, providing diverse and eclectic menus with Asian and European influences. We curate intimate dinner experiences for adventurous and curious eaters looking to connect with others and learn more about food systems, the cultural and ecological history of their ingredients, and sustainable practices. We host monthly dinners, pop-ups, and events across Brooklyn and Manhattan. Our dinners are seven courses with themed menus, different each month. Reduced-price tickets are available upon request.
