About Event

March is Nutrition Awareness Month and what better way to celebrate than a Guest talk on Food Is Medicine and Produce Prescription Programs! Join Climate Farm School in welcoming Ronli Levi this installment of our Guest Speaker Series.

Ronli Levi is the Director of Research and Evaluation for UCSF's Seligman Research Team. In this role, she manages research, evaluation, and community-based interventions aimed at reducing food insecurity and improving health. Additionally, Ronli supports the evaluation efforts for Vouchers 4 Veggies-EatSF, a produce prescription program started in San Francisco in 2015. As part of the GusNIP Nutrition Incentive Hub, Ronli serves as a PPR advisor, providing training and technical assistance to other produce prescription implementers.

Ronli will be giving a talk on the research and implementation of Food Is Medicine and Produce Prescription Programs in the healthcare space and the impact they have had on patient outcomes. There will be time for questions at the end so please feel free to come prepared with questions or just listen in!
