Observability Engineering: What's Next?
Hello fellow SREs,
Following the summer break we're back with a strong line-up! Together with Honeycomb we are happy to bring you Liz Fong-Jones and Hazel Weakly as our speakers for this event.
With them, we're discovering what's next for observability engineering.
Liz is a developer advocate, labor and ethics organizer, and Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with over two decades of experience. She is currently a Technical Fellow at honeycomb.io, and previously was an SRE working on products ranging from the Google Cloud Load Balancer to Google Flights.
Hazel spends her days building out teams of humans as well as the systems and tooling to make life better for others. She currently serves as a Fellow of the Nivenly Foundation, and is fondly known as the Infrastructure Witch of Hachyderm (a popular Mastodon instance).
One of her favourite joys is the light on someone’s face when they understand something for the first time. She also loves shooting pool, swing dancing, and boardgames.
