​What if one day of building could solve a problem that actually matters?

​Build for Impact is a vibe coding hackathon where ideas start with real people and real problems. Instead of building another app just because you can, you’ll spend the day creating something that could genuinely improve someone’s life, starting in the Øresund region and potentially going much further.

​Choose a problem that matters to you. It could be something you experience personally, something affecting your family or community, or a challenge faced by a group that is often overlooked, such as children experiencing bullying, people with ADHD or dyslexia, students who learn differently, elderly people, newcomers, or people with disabilities.

​Using Bilt.me, you’ll go from an idea to a working app in just a few hours, with the Bilt.me team there throughout the day to help turn ideas into reality.

​The goal is simple: build something useful, thoughtful, and grounded in a real problem. We want solutions with the potential to make someone's life genuinely better.

​Start with the problem. Understand who you're building for. Then create a solution that could realistically help them.

​And if you can show that people actually want what you've built, even better. Bonus points for teams that validate their idea and secure a Letter of Intent (LOI) from a potential user, community, organization, school, association, or other relevant stakeholder.

​Come solo or bring your team

​You can build solo, come with your own team, or find teammates at the hackathon. You don't need to arrive with an idea or a group. We'll make space at the beginning of the day for people to meet, share problems and ideas, and form teams.

​No coding experience is needed. Bilt.me is designed to make app building accessible to non-technical creators, and the team will be there throughout the day to help you build and deploy your app.
