About Event

After Dark | 16 October

The second night of After Dark brings even more opportunities to unwind, connect, and celebrate together. From sundowners and industry meet-ups to film premieres, live DJs, and a leaving party with purpose — here’s how the evening unfolds:

17:00–18:00 | Sundowner: Meet the Outdoor Industry | Stretch Tent
Kick off the evening with a drink alongside speakers, partners, and fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Hosted by the Outdoor Industry Association, Protect Our Winters, and EOCA, this is the perfect chance to decompress after a day of Sport & Adventure content.

17:00–18:30 | Reasons to Be Cheerful: Growth | Courtyard Stage
Mark Shayler (APE) is joined by Yasmin Jones-Henry (FT Writer & Cultural Strategist), Jennifer Walderdorff (Fashion Strategist & Founder), The Drag Queen Gardener, and David Kam (movement artist and educator) for an uplifting discussion on what it means to grow with purpose in uncertain times.

18:00–20:00 | Media & Communications Party | Stretch Tent
Hosted by Purpose Disruptors, Ecologi, Enviral, Aqua Libra, Pinwheel, and others, this party brings music, drinks, and match day pies (yes, pies!). Purpose Disruptors will also be giving away signed copies of their new zine.

19:00–21:30 | Project Salt Run: Leaving Party | Stretch Tent
Hannah Cox, founder of the Better Business Network, is about to set off on Project Salt Run — 100 marathons in 100 days across India’s Inland Customs Line, raising £1M for 1% for the Planet. Celebrate her send-off with live music and cold beers.

19:00–22:00 | Blue Earth Film Festival | Sessions Stage
Curated by Steve Scott, Director of Kendal Mountain Festival, this programme features unseen adventure films — from paragliding in the Alps to kayaking the Mississippi — plus live filmmaker Q&As. Note: requires a Film Fest Pass purchased in advance.

19:00–21:00 | Pitch & Sync DJs | Courtyard
Alex Lavery, Ben Hauke, and Ant Moll bring a sonic journey that fractures the mundane and sparks emotion — blending sound design, club energy, and boundary-breaking beats to keep the courtyard alive.
