About Event

The official AMD Developer Hackathon will take place on May 9–10, 2026 in San Francisco, CA, bringing together developers, founders, engineers, and builders to create AI agents and high-performance AI applications using AMD GPUs in the cloud.

Powered by AMD AI Developer Cloud, the hackathon provides developers with access to AMD Instinct MI300X GPUs, ROCm, and model APIs, enabling teams to build and run powerful AI workloads without needing to manage hardware or complex setup.

Participants will also gain access to hands-on tutorials, workshops, and curated resources helping teams build faster and learn along the way.

Backed by AMD, the hackathon offers a $10,000 prize pool along with $100 in AMD Developer Cloud credits for members of the AMD AI Developer Program.
In addition, AMD will award one team with a Radeon-powered prize for an outstanding project.
