Art & Longevity: An Evening at the Photography Museum
We’re excited to host our next Longevity Chicago event! Join us for an evening exploring how art, longevity and social connections interplay together.
📅 Date: Thursday, 12 November 2026
🕕 Time: 6:30 PM
📍 Meeting Point: Museum of Contemporary Photography, 600 S Michigan Ave (right at the Michigan Ave entrance)
Schedule:
6:30 PM - Meet at the Museum of Contemporary Photography
6:45 PM - Welcome from the Longevity Chicago team and short round of intros
7 PM - Explore the museum together
8:00 PM - Optional dinner nearby for anyone who’d like to keep the conversation going
Did you know? Research from University College London found that people who regularly engage with the arts, including museums, galleries, theatre and concerts, have a meaningfully lower risk of dying early compared to those who rarely do, even after accounting for wealth, education and physical activity. Art isn’t just good for the soul, it may genuinely help you live longer.
We’re also timing this with the museum’s extended Thursday hours (open until 8 PM), and admission is always free, so it’s accessible to everyone.
