​GitHub Training Seminar for Northeastern University Students

​The Agentics Foundation is hosting an exclusive GitHub training seminar for Northeastern University students in Toronto.

​This hands-on session is designed to help students build practical, real-world skills using GitHub and modern collaborative development workflows. Whether you're new to GitHub or looking to become more confident working in team-based software projects, the seminar will cover the tools and practices developers use every day.

​Students will learn how to work with repositories, branches, commits, pull requests, issues, collaboration workflows, and GitHub-based project management, while also gaining a better understanding of how GitHub fits into modern software engineering, open-source development, and AI-focused projects.

​The session will include practical demonstrations, guided exercises, and opportunities for students to ask questions and work through common development scenarios.

​Topics include: Git and GitHub fundamentals, repository management, branching and merging, pull requests and code review, issues and project workflows, collaboration best practices, open-source contribution basics, and an introduction to GitHub within modern AI and agentic development environments.

​This seminar is available exclusively to Northeastern University students and is presented by the Agentics Foundation as part of its mission to help the next generation of builders develop practical skills in AI, software engineering, and emerging technology.
