Join us for a guided tour of Female Gaze, Please!, the current photography exhibition at White Label Project’s concept store and gallery space on Kleine Hamburger Straße.
The exhibition brings together a group of international female photographers whose work challenges the dominance of the male gaze in visual culture. These images offer fresh, necessary perspectives, rooted in personal experience, cultural identity, and distinct visual languages.
Set within the curated space of White Label Project’s design store, the exhibition becomes an extension of WLP’s broader design narrative. Photography and object design are placed in conversation - each medium reinforcing the other, and together expanding the idea of female storytelling. The result is a multi-layered experience that moves across form, material, and meaning.
During the tour, we’ll walk, talk, and share a cold refreshment while exploring how these artists are reshaping photographic narratives and what a more diverse gaze means for the way we see the world.

About the Exhibition
In photography, whether in news media, fashion, or fine art, women behind the camera remain underrepresented. Female Gaze, Please! offers a counterpoint: a space to experience how women view, frame, and narrate the world around them. But this isn’t about defining a single “female gaze”; it’s about showing how plural and layered these perspectives are.
Each artist brings a distinct point of view, from surreal compositions to intimate documentary work, from explorations of identity to socio-political commentary. What connects them isn’t a single style or message, but the shared importance of being seen and of being the one who sees.
About White Label Project
White Label Project is a concept store and gallery in Berlin Mitte, working at the intersection of art, design, and social impact. Through a curated selection of impact brands from countries including Mexico, Ghana, Ukraine, and India, WLP challenges conventional ideas of craft and design, foregrounding stories that are too often overlooked in Western-dominated narratives. With a focus on women-led initiatives, WLP connects aesthetics and ethics, traditional knowledge and contemporary design.
