AI Control Q&A: Myles Heller, Nick Kuhn & Ram Potham
AI Control Hackathon 2026 - Q&A Panel
Join the AI Control Hackathon alongside hundreds of researchers globally, co-organized by Apart Research and Redwood Research.
The Session
A Q&A panel with three researchers working on AI control, following Tyler Tracy's second talk on Open Problems in AI Control. Bring your questions about AI control research, the hackathon tracks, or getting started in the field.
The Panelists
Myles Heller is a freelance programmer contributing to AI model safety evaluations at EquiStamp, designing benchmarks and evaluation tasks for AI agents. He is also a volunteer developer at AISafety.info, building a RAG chatbot, and a contributor to AI-Plans.com.
Nick Kuhn is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, collaborating with Dominic Joyce. He holds a PhD from Stanford University, with research focusing on moduli spaces in algebraic geometry.
Ram Potham is an Astra Fellow at Redwood Research, focused on mitigating loss-of-control risk. His agent safety research was accepted for an oral presentation at the ICML 2025 Technical AI Governance workshop.
