The Talk
Rogan Inglis from the UK AI Security Institute will give an overview of ControlArena, the evaluation infrastructure for AI control research built by AISI. The talk will cover how ControlArena works, its 14 evaluation settings, and how hackathon participants can use it for their projects.
The Speaker
Rogan Inglis is a Senior Research Engineer on the Control team at the UK AI Security Institute (AISI). He works on ControlArena, an open-source evaluation framework for testing AI control protocols. Before joining AISI, he was Co-Founder and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Intelistyle (Techstars 2018), where he spent over six years building ML systems. He holds an MSc in Machine Learning from UCL and an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from Imperial College London.
