The Talk
Tyler Tracy from Redwood Research will go over open problems in AI control, walk through the reading list, and cover the project tracks for the hackathon. There will be time for Q&A.
The Speaker
Tyler Tracy is a Research Engineer at Redwood Research on the High-Stakes control team, where he builds security protocols to prevent AIs from hacking out of datacenters. Before joining Redwood full-time, he was a SERI MATS fellow working on benchmarking how well GPT-3 level systems can monitor and control malicious GPT-4 level systems. He is co-organizing the AI Control Hackathon and will be providing technical support throughout the event.
