Tyler Tracy from Redwood Research gives a second pre-hackathon talk on open problems in AI control, project ideas, and Q&A.
The Speaker
Tyler Tracy is a Research Engineer at Redwood Research on the High-Stakes control team, where he builds security protocols to prevent AIs from hacking out of datacenters. Before joining Redwood full-time, he was a SERI MATS fellow working on benchmarking how well GPT-3 level systems can monitor and control malicious GPT-4 level systems. He is co-organizing the AI Control Hackathon and will be providing technical support throughout the event.
