HackTalk: Alex Mallen
Alex Mallen is a Member of Technical Staff at Redwood Research, where he works on AI safety. He has worked on scalable oversight, AI evaluations, eliciting latent knowledge, interpretability, and AI control. He studied CS at the University of Washington and previously worked at EleutherAI.
His talk: “How near-term AI swarms could cause labs to lose control of AI development, absent improved defenses”, based on his post AI swarms are starting to pose indirect takeover risk.
