​PPLWalk × Root 2 Fruit Festival

​PPLWalk is a free, monthly community photo walk in Philadelphia for photographers, videographers, models, and creatives of all levels. Each walk brings people together to explore the city, make photographs, meet other creatives, and experience Philadelphia through a different lens.

​For this walk, we’re teaming up with Root 2 Fruit Festival for a Saturday afternoon of photography and community.

​We’ll meet at MOTW Coffee & Pastries to grab coffee, meet the group, and get ready for the walk.

​From there, we’ll head toward Schuylkill River Park, where we’ll spend time exploring and photographing the park, surrounding streets, architecture, people, movement, and whatever catches your eye.

​Then we’ll make our way across the river toward Cira Green, arriving shortly after the Root 2 Fruit Festival begins.

​Explore the festival, meet new people, keep your camera out, and enjoy the rest of the afternoon with the community.

​Schedule

​11:00–11:15 AM — MOTW Coffee & Pastries
Grab a coffee, meet fellow creatives, and get ready to walk.

​11:15–11:25 AM — Walk to Schuylkill River Park
Cameras out—the walk begins.

​11:25–11:55 AM — Schuylkill River Park
Explore, photograph, and connect with the group.

​11:55 AM–12:15 PM — Walk to Cira Green
We’ll continue shooting as we make our way toward University City.

​12:15–12:30 PM — Cira Green + Root 2 Fruit Festival
​A rooftop park transformed into a celebration of creativity and community. Enjoy:

• ​Wellness sessions (Movement Meditation, Yoga, Pilates+)

• ​Youth Activities (yoga, arts and crafts)

• ​Live performances (Music, Dance, Painters)

• ​Smoothie and mocktail Happy Hour (supplies limited)
