Event Details
5:30pm: Doors Open
6:00pm: Panel Discussion
AI for science is bottlenecked on experiments, not compute. On August 19th, we're bringing together people working on the gap between AI model development and laboratory execution. This is an event for people who care about perturbation effects that fail to reproduce across independent experiments, batch and plate structure that models learn in place of biology, and model systems whose results do not extend to human biology. Come for an open discussion, anchored by a panel with world-leading experts.
Speakers include:
Kavita Kulkarni: AI Research @ Biohub
Will Serber: Stealth founder; Former GM, Ginkgo Automation
Ci Chu: Co-Founder & CDO @ Xaira Therapeutics
