​OpenClaw Meetup: What It Is, What You Can Build, and How to Use It Safely
​Join us for a community-driven evening exploring OpenClaw—what it is, why it matters, what you can build with it, and how to use it responsibly. We’ll be bringing together builders, curious newcomers, and AI enthusiasts for a night of learning, live demos, real examples, and good conversation.
​We’ll kick things off with networking, pizza, and drinks, then move into a welcome and intro. From there, we’ll do a practical overview of what OpenClaw is, followed by a live demo of building an agent from scratch so everyone can see it in action.
​We’ll also hear from a few builders sharing what they’ve shipped with OpenClaw, then open the floor for a live build where the audience chooses a use case and we build the agent together on screen in real time. Along the way, we’ll talk about where the danger lies and how to use OpenClaw thoughtfully, safely, and responsibly.
​We’ll wrap with Q&A and next steps for the Chicago chapter. Come connect, learn, and build with the community.

​- 6:00-6:10 | Welcome + intros + announcements
​- 6:10-6:40 | "What is OpenClaw" - overview + live demo of building an agent from scratch
​- 6:40-7:10 | Lightning talks or panel (2-3 builders showing what they've shipped with OpenClaw)
​- 7:10-8:00 | Open floor / live build requests - audience picks a use case, we build the agent together on screen in real time
​- 8:00-8:45 | Wrap-up, Q&A, next steps for Chicago chapter
​** Event will be livestreamed to enable you to join virtually if you can't be with us IRL. We will send out the livestream URL before the start of the event, so please still register and indicate so. Thank you!
