​Our chapter is joining Hack for Humanity, The AI Collective's global initiative running Fall 2026. It's the continuation of the Humans in AI Week conversations we held this summer, where we identified real problems in our local community... and now it's our chance to build solutions.

​Join us for a fast-paced, six-hour, in-person AI “vibe coding” hackathon where multidisciplinary teams develop and present practical solutions to predefined problems affecting Connecticut.

​The event is designed to accommodate both beginners and experienced developers and builders. Success will depend not only on coding, but also on problem definition, market research, product design, storytelling, and effective use of AI tools.

​We'll assign you to teams based on your superpowers, so we need more than coders. Whether you are good at product management, project management, market research, presentations, data analytics, or coding, we have a task for you.

​How you can participate:

​Hackathon Team

​Join a multidisciplinary team to build a working solution to a real Connecticut challenge in one day. Bring your coding, product, research, design, or presentation skills. No prior hackathon experience needed.

​Volunteer

​Support the event on the ground: check-in, room logistics, and keeping the day running smoothly. No technical background required, just show up ready to help. You may join for part of the event. Let us know in the registration form.

​Mentor

​Serve as a domain expert available for team office hours during build time: product, design, engineering, AI, or another practice area. Guide teams on their problem, technical approach, or presentation, then join for final presentations. You may join for part of the event. Let us know in the registration form.

​Back the event with funding, compute resources, in-kind support, or mentors from your organization. Sponsors are recognized across event materials.
