CVPR Paper Discussion
We're launching a recurring paper discussion series to bring together people pushing the frontier from different angles — researchers advancing the state of the art and builders translating new ideas into real-world systems.
Every few weeks, we'll gather a small group in NYC to discuss a curated set of recent papers from conferences like CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR.
Each paper will be introduced by a participant, followed by open discussion on the technical contributions, practical implications, and unanswered questions.
On June 24th, we host researchers who published at CVPR . After the paper session, we'll continue the conversation over dinner.
The goal isn't presentations for their own sake. It's to create a room where people can think critically about new research, exchange perspectives across academia and industry, and build relationships with others working at the frontier.
We'll keep attendance intentionally small to encourage thoughtful discussion.
The event is hosted at the ALLSIDES Brooklyn office. Food and Drinks provided. Those who actually attend the event will be added to a private group chat for continued networking and discussion.
