​AI Collective Peoria | Meetup #2: Solving Civic Problems Together

​The votes are in. You chose civic problem-solving. Let's build.

Our first meetup brought out 20 people. We captured real problems, built solutions in real-time, and walked away with working prototypes.

Now we're leveling up.

WHAT WE'RE TACKLING:

Peoria-area residents identified these challenges:

→ "Resources exist, people can't find them" - fragmented information, no central hub
→ Transportation gaps - limiting access to jobs, healthcare, education
→ Career exposure for youth - kids don't know what pathways exist
→ Entrepreneurship barriers - lack of capital, mentors, clarity on where to start

These are real. These are solvable. And we're going to prototype solutions together.

WHAT'S HAPPENING BETWEEN NOW AND DECEMBER 3RD:

We're not waiting until Wednesday to start. I'm posting design ideas daily on Slack - rough sketches, workflows, potential solutions. You critique. You add. You push back.

By the time we meet, we'll have momentum. We'll have a design doc. We'll be ready to implement.
