​This session, hosted by the AI Safety Awareness Project, explores the accelerating pace of AI progress, the opportunities and existential risks ahead, and what it means for individuals, communities, and policymakers.
​Through interactive forecasting exercises and demonstrations, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how close we are to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), what experts predict will happen next, and how society can respond responsibly.

​Participants will join a live group exercise inspired by Metaculus forecasting markets, predicting key milestones such as:
