Event description
A live look at how real AI deals come together. A VC partner and a portfolio founder will walk through one investment from both sides of the table. You will see how conviction (market, moat, GTM, risks, safety) is formed, what risks are debated, what early traction matters, and what changes after the check. The session includes a presentation from the partner and founder, an interactive voting exercise, a fireside chat, audience Q&A, and topic table networking.
Speaker
Ken Horenstein, Founder and General Partner,
Pack Ventures
Satya Singh, Co-founder and CTO, Scispot
What you’ll learn
How one real AI deal moved from thesis → diligence → term sheet
What investors actually underwrite: market wedge, data/AI moat, cost/safety, early traction
How founders frame the problem, product, metrics, and first pilots
