About Event

🎯 For UX designers, researchers & product designers | 🧠 Beginner–Intermediate | 🕒 60 min | 💵 Free

Most PRDs don't fail because the idea is wrong. They fail because the document leaves too much room for interpretation. And most PMs use AI to write faster, not to write better.

In this free session, Rita Pais (Senior Product Manager, 7 years in B2B SaaS) will show how AI can actually improve product documentation. Not just drafting a PRD in seconds, but using it to stress-test what you've already written: surfacing missing edge cases, catching vague requirements before engineering does, and turning a rough user story into one with real acceptance criteria.

This is for PMs who already use AI daily and want it to sharpen their documentation, not just speed it up.

You'll leave with a practical approach to using AI at both ends of the process: as a drafting partner and as a second pair of eyes, so your specs create less back-and-forth, not more.

🧠 What You'll Learn

• Use AI to stress-test a PRD, not just draft one: catching gaps and ambiguity before engineering does.
• Recognize when a vague requirement is actually a thinking problem, not a writing problem.
• Build a repeatable prompt and process for feeding context to AI, so you're not starting every PRD from scratch.
• Turn a rough user story into one with clear, testable acceptance criteria

🕘 Agenda

  1. Intro (5 min) — Setting the stage: why most PRDs fail on vague problems, weak user stories, and ambiguous requirements.

  2. Drafting with AI (10 min) — Using AI to draft problem statements, user stories, and requirements structure.

  3. Stress-testing with AI (15 min) — Using AI to catch missing edge cases, weak acceptance criteria, and ambiguity before engineering does.

  4. Live example (10 min) — Watching a rough PRD get improved live with AI, drafted and stress-tested in real time.

  5. Q&A (15 min) — Open floor for questions on AI, PRDs, and the process.

⚙️ Format

Talk plus live Q&A. Rita will work through a real, rough PRD live using Claude, showing both the drafting and the stress-testing side of the process in real time.

👤 Who Should Attend

Product managers and product teams who already use AI in their workflow and want to use it to catch gaps and ambiguity, not just save time on the first draft. Best suited for intermediate PMs already writing PRDs regularly.

🎤 Meet Your Speaker

Rita Pais is a Senior Product Manager with 5+ years of experience turning complex problems into elegant solutions users actually love. She's worked across industries, from e-commerce to EV charging, and writes ProductsforPlanet, where she explores how product management can drive climate solutions. She's also the instructor behind Uxcel's Writing Effective Product Specs course, and believes the best products come from experimentation over assumptions, and from asking better questions before writing them down.
