About Event

With the upcoming Bay Area Air District new appliance rules (no more new gas water heaters in homes in 2027 and no more gas furnaces in 2029), all-electric homes are quickly becoming a hot topic to follow.

Buildings cause nearly a third of U.S. greenhouse gas pollution, largely due to fossil gas-burning appliances. Luckily, we can change that - and electric appliances are also better for your health.

Come hang out outdoors and connect with other climate changemakers at this lunch with a unique tour of an all-electric home - that's right, there's no more gas meter here!

THIS IS A POTLUCK - PLEASE BRING A DISH TO SHARE. Your RSVP is not confirmed until you email [email protected] with what you plan to bring - the ticket fee and this info is is in part to double check that you are actually planning to attend : ) because space is limited.

Where: an East Bay back yard, OUTDOORS (bring layers)
Note that we may move things indoors if it rains.
This will be about half a mile from El Cerrito Plaza BART and near AC Transit bus stops. Free bicycle parking and car parking is available as well.
Email [email protected] after you RSVP to get the exact location.

At this event, you'll get a chance to meet a local heat pump installer, Electrify My Home, and get all your HVAC questions answered. Thanks to Electrify My Home for co-sponsoring this event!

Attendees will also get an **exclusive discount code** to buy a new Impulse induction stove. Thanks Impulse for co-sponsoring!

Note: this is a zero waste event so while silverware, plates, and cups are provided, you are welcome to BYO too!
