About Event

Most founders are already putting customer data, code and business plans into AI tools. Very few have checked what happens to it after they hit enter.

That's why we're starting here. You can't get real value out of these tools until you know what's safe to put in them.

What this is

A practical hour on where your data goes, who owns what you build with AI and what enterprise buyers will ask you about it. It's current practice from people who deal with this every week, not legal advice.

→ Your plan matters more than your settings. Personal plans (the $20 to $200 a month ones) work differently from business and enterprise plans. Turning off "train on my data" isn't the whole story. We'll show what each tier actually covers and when you need to move up.

→ What’s safe to put into AI. Learn what company, customer and sensitive information you can use with different AI tools — and what you should keep out.

→ Who owns what AI helps you make. Where your ideas and code stop being only yours and why it matters more for a unique algorithm than for a new market idea.

→ What enterprise buyers will ask you. SOC2, security questionnaires, agreements with your AI vendors and why any tool that processes your customers' data needs to be on that list.

→ Agents aren't employees. If an agent deletes customer data, your business owns that. What to let an agent read, write or run and why it should never touch production.

→ Bots will poke at your product. Your users' AI tools will try to get around your guardrails to finish a task. We'll cover the basics, like rate limits, before you ship an AI feature.

What you’ll do

You'll check the settings on the tools you actually use, live, then draft a one-page AI use policy from a template.

You'll leave with

→ A policy you can share with your team

→ A checklist for the AI questions that show up in enterprise security reviews

→ A short list of what to check before your next big deal asks

Why this one is different

Most AI security talks either scare you off the tools or skip the details. This one's built for people who want to keep using AI every day and not find out the hard way when a million-dollar account sends over its security review.

What to bring

A laptop and logins for the AI tools your team uses. No paid plan needed for this one.

Presented in partnership with Momentum Product Co.
