Hannah Franco: Poiesis Artist's Reception

​In her solo exhibition Poiesis, Hannah Franco brings her once-hidden washes of color forward as the true subject of the work, revealing a self that had long lived quietly beneath the surface. Honoring the power of softness and vulnerability, Franco pays tribute to the often invisible and systemically undervalued domestic labor and love women have long contributed to their communities.
