About Event

Overview

What if the biggest climate impact of a concert or a game happens before the fans even arrive?

Fan travel can account for 60-70% of a major event’s emissions, yet understanding how fans travel, what influences their choices, and how to encourage lower-carbon alternatives remains a challenge.

The Sustainable Energy, and Entertainment Network (SEEN) in collaboration with the Columbia Climate School | Earth Networks is exploring these questions through hands on research, examining fan journeys, and identifying opportunities to make life events more sustainable.

Join our virtual information session to learn about the research group. Discover how you can get involved and find out how to apply.
