Logos Circle: Los Angeles [Work Group]
Logos Circle: Los Angeles - Work Group Session
Location provided to approved attendees
What We're Building
This is a work session for the LA Logos Circle, the objective is to move from concepts to code. Following productive discussions at previous gatherings, we're ready to begin technical implementation on a proof-of-concept for privacy preserving local community tools.
Our focus: an anonymous neighborhood engagement platform that lets people participate in local issues without sacrificing their privacy. Think community reporting and coordination, but built on principles of self-sovereignty rather than surveillance.
Session Objectives
We'll break into working groups to tackle core components:
Identity & Privacy Layer Zero-knowledge approaches to verify community membership without exposing who you are or exactly where you live.
Messaging Infrastructure Leveraging Logos Messaging for private, censorship-resistant communication between neighbors.
Incentive Mechanisms Designing staking and reputation systems that encourage genuine participation while deterring bad actors.
User Experience Making privacy-first design actually usable for everyday community members.
Who Should Attend
This session is for builders ready to contribute. Whether your expertise is in cryptography, frontend development, mechanism design, or UX, if you're prepared to roll up your sleeves and help prototype solutions for real LA community challenges, we want you there.
Prior attendance at Logos Circle events is helpful but not required. Familiarity with the Logos tech stack (Blockchain, Storage, Messaging) is a plus.
