Join us for First Sundays at Alchemy, an afternoon into evening of music, art, movement, workshops, pop ups, and connection featuring local artists, musicians, teachers, facilitators, and creatives.
Set in the heart of San Francisco, First Sundays brings together creativity, culture, wellness, and community in a welcoming space to connect, explore, and be inspired.
Guests can also experience Alchemy’s outdoor Sauna Garden featuring a communal sauna, cold plunges, thermal benches, herbal tea, and firepit. Slow down, reset, and take time for yourself or with others.
First Sundays Flow | October 4th
3–4 PM | Downtempo & Matcha Lounge — Hawa
Ease into Sunday with downtempo sounds and delicious matcha. Hawa brings directly sourced Japanese matcha and laid back sounds to the lounge. Come with a friend, sip some matcha, and hang.
4–5 PM | Authentic Relating Pop Up — HeartLab
HeartLab brings its playful approach to Authentic Relating with guided practices in curiosity, presence, honesty, and real human connection. Meet new people, learn something about yourself, and experience a little of the magic HeartLab is creating in the Mission.
4–5 PM | Primal Movement & Contrast Therapy 101 — Eric Guarino
Eric blends foundational primal movement, breathwork, nervous system science, mindset, and philosophy with a guided contrast immersion. Learn lifelong practical tools from this highly knowledgeable instructor while exploring what happens when we intentionally meet the elements through movement, heat, and cold.
5:15–6:15 PM | Embodied Anatomy: Guided Meditation + Live Ambient Music — Dr. Karah Charette + Spencer Sussman
What if you could actually listen to your biology? Somatic health PT and movement educator Dr. Karah Charette guides an inner journey through the brain, heart, lungs, and digestive system while composer and musician Spencer Sussman creates an incredible nature inspired ambient soundscape.
5–7 PM | Thermal Tarot — Lucy Starr
A little tarot and cosmic connection between sauna and cold plunge rounds. Find Lucy Starr in the Sauna Garden for a mini drop in reading. Pull a card, ask a question, follow your curiosity, and see what might be waiting to reveal itself.
4–8 PM | Functional Cocktails — Ocean Beach Cafe
Meet Joshua James, longtime bartender and founder of San Francisco’s pioneering alcohol free Ocean Beach Cafe, and explore functional, botanical, non alcoholic drinks created for a new kind of social ritual.
6:30 PM | Who’s in the Sauna? + Yerdrink — Adam Swig
Who’s in the sauna? Drop in with Adam Swig for a lively sauna hang with Yerdrink samples, unexpected conversations, new friends, and plenty of laughs.
7:00 PM | Sauna Aufguss Ritual — Sarah Koh
Enjoy a sauna Aufguss ritual with Sarah Koh with pure essential oil infusions, steam, and towel waving. Sit back and relax into waves of aromatic heat that will leave you feeling both relaxed and rejuvenated.
6:30–8:30 PM | DJ B2B Sunset Freestyle Mingle — Reza aka DIRTYHERTZ + Seth Finkin
Pairing up these two awesome humans and DJs for an evening of freestyling, mingling, and dancing. Nothing beats the energy of live creative collaboration, with two DJs playing off each other and letting the music unfold in the moment. Expect a free flowing B2B, sunset energy, good people, and plenty of good vibes.
Sauna Garden
2–4 PM | 4–6 PM | 6–8 PM
Enjoy Alchemy’s outdoor Sauna Garden featuring a communal sauna, refreshing cold plunges, warm thermal benches, herbal tea, and firepit access. Slow down, reset, and experience the restorative benefits of contrast therapy while enjoying an afternoon or evening of community and connection.
Sauna Garden access is available exclusively with a Full Experience ticket.
