About Event

An invitation-only dialogue on the investment case for India’s emerging circular economy sector and how it meets climate goals.

Circular economy ventures in India are building relevant solutions across materials, manufacturing, waste, food systems, construction, environment and the consumer markets. Many of these businesses have strong commercial potential, but they often struggle to access the right kind of capital at the right stage. The challenge is often not an absence of capital, but a mismatch between the risk being financed, the stage of the venture and the instrument being offered.

Hosted by CEIC Bengaluru, SecondMuse and Lightroad Ventures as part of Asia Impact House, this invitation-only session will examine what makes circular economy ventures investible, where the most credible opportunities are emerging, and how different forms of capital can support them at the right stage.

The session will begin with a short presentation of the Circular Economy Investor Brief, highlighting the market opportunity, emerging venture landscape, financing gaps and key considerations for different capital providers. This will be followed by a fireside chat with practitioners from the sector and an interactive roundtable discussion, where all participants can share perspectives, and explore practical pathways for moving capital into circular economy opportunities.

Bringing together impact investors, venture funds, family offices, philanthropies, CSR funders and ecosystem leaders, the session is designed to offer both practical learning and a meaningful opportunity to contribute.
