Signature Gathering at St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown San Francisco
San Francisco's St. Patrick's Day parade and festival will attract thousands of Bay Area residents and will be a festive and boisterous occasion to collect signatures for both Connect Bay Area and Stronger Muni for All.
We will set up in Civic Center Plaza near Limoncello, at the intersection of Larkin and Grove. We will have a group training at 11am and stay onsite until 2pm to provide support and offer packet exchanges.
The parade starts at 11:30am at 2nd and Market and will work its way toward Civic Center, so you can proceed up Market street to gather from parade watchers. Or you can stay to gather from people attending the festival in and around Civic Center Plaza, which runs from 11am to 5pm. If you plan to gather mostly in the afternoon, just know that we plan to be onsite and available to offer training and packet exchanges until 2pm.

No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you're under 18, let us know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!

San Francisco needs to pass both the Stronger Muni for All (San Francisco parcel tax) and Connect Bay Area (five-county sales tax) transit measures in November to prevent service cuts, and you can gather signatures for both at the same time! We will have both petitions available at this event.
