Poetry Night
Let's get together to hang out offline and appreciate the written word in the form of poetry.
*This is firstly about hanging out in a screen-free environment with other like-minded folks, and secondly about appreciating poetry.
If it's not your thing, that's perfectly ok – come hang out and meet cool people and try something new. (Unless you have something against poetry, then I don't know what to tell you 🫤 )*
We'll check in, chat, and then take turns reading (or reciting) poetry.
Then we'll take some time to write a poem or two ourselves. No worries about experience or talent or whatever. If you've never written a poem before – even better!
Finally, we'll read or recite some of our own poetry, or each others', or whatever, and close out.
