About Event

Join the Bronx Green Jobs Center (BGJC) and John Jay College’s Institute for Justice and Opportunity (IJO) for a strategic roundtable focused on expanding justice-impacted pathways into the green economy. This session will convene workforce leaders, community organizations, employers, and policy stakeholders to identify concrete strategies that connect green workforce development to ongoing efforts in reentry, probation, decarceration, and fair-chance hiring. Together, we will surface actionable recommendations to ensure justice-impacted Bronx residents are fully included in emerging climate and infrastructure investments and have equitable access to training, credentials, and quality jobs in the growing green economy.
