Building Africa’s Digital Workforce

​Join us for the side event by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy (FMCIDE) on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80).

​This high-level side event will convene African ministers, development partners, private sector leaders, investors, and young talents to explore scalable strategies for skills development, digital infrastructure, and job creation amid Africa's burgeoning youth population. 

​Spotlighting initiatives like Nigeria's flagship 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme and the Talent Cities model, the session will examine solutions to infrastructure challenges in digital employment, innovative financing for sustainable upskilling, and pathways toward a cross-continental digital workforce alliance. 

​Hosted by Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, the dialogue aims to foster commitments for knowledge sharing, partnerships, and inclusive growth across the continent.
