Getting the most out of Drupal AI in LocalGov Drupal
AI is increasingly embedded in the tools we all use to run our websites.
In this session, Simon and Laurie look at how some of these features work in Drupal and how they can help with everyday tasks.
We’ll show four AI features working in a LocalGov Drupal site:
AI Automators can fill in or update content, such as summaries or tags.
AI Alt Text suggests image descriptions that your team can check and edit before publishing.
The PDF/Docs Importer turns PDF documents into web pages you can edit in Drupal.
AI Observability lets you see what the AI is doing on your site, so you stay in control.
You’ll see what each feature does and how it can fit into a Drupal site. We’ll explore what they can help with and what teams may want to consider when using them.
What you’ll take away
You’ll leave with:
A clearer picture of the AI features available for Drupal.
Examples of how the AI features work in practice, not just how they’re described.
An introduction to AI Observability.
Ideas for assessing whether these tools suit your website and team.
Who it’s for
The session is for people who work with Drupal, including digital, communications and technology teams. You don’t need specialist AI knowledge to take part.
Bring your questions. We’d like to hear what you’re hoping AI could help with, and what worries you about it.
