​About the Artists: Shiraz Ensemble is a contemporary music group that unites Iranian musicians performing traditional instruments in the US. They blend innovation and tradition, pushing the boundaries of Iranian music while honoring its cultural heritage.

​Location: The Glass Clouds Ensemble House (Building 14, Nolan Park) is a beautiful community arts space with a cozy living room salon & porch seating, surrounded by lots of green space. Air conditioning and cold drinks provided!

​Glass Clouds Ensemble is an Organization in Residence with Governors Island Arts and is hosting free music programming all summer long on the island.

​Governors Island is a 10-min ferry from Manhattan and Brooklyn – ferry schedule & more info. It's a great place to spend a weekend day, rain or shine, with lots of art exhibits, bike paths, and food trucks!
