Subculture Lit Book Club - Excitability by Diane Williams (Austin)
✨November’s Subculture Lit Book Club is reading Excitability by Diane Williams ✨
About:
Diane Williams is a prolific writer of flash fiction and her book, Excitability, is a selection of her best stories from her early collections. They are bold, funny, and abstract. They are about sex, love, death, and family. Her writing style is jarring, yet melodic, like a Thelonious Monk tune. She captures the comedy and absurdity of being alive while pushing her selected form into new territories. There’s really no one quite like her.
