Apify's Hack for Humanity
One day. One problem you care about. One working solution.
About the event
Hack for Humanity is a one-day in-person hackathon at the Apify office in Prague. Instead of a set brief, you pick a social or global problem you personally care about and spend the afternoon building something that tackles it.
It’s also a chance to see what the Apify platform can do when it's pointed at problems bigger than a sprint ticket. Projects could be anything from tracking drought data to spotting disinformation or checking public websites for accessibility issues
What you build is up to you: an Apify Actor, a web app, a dataset, or a rough proof of concept. Using the Apify platform is expected and rewarded in judging.
The rules
Bring your own problem and your own idea for solving it. Research and plan as much as you like beforehand.
All code is written from scratch on the day. No pre-built projects.
Any type of output counts: Actor, app, dataset, or PoC.
