STAGEFRIGHT at Hedge House w/ Charlie Mtn.
Stagefright is a theatrical, high-desert musical collective hailing from Wonder Valley, CA. Fronted by Lolly Goodwoman (alter ego of artist Lindsey Andersen), “the band that’s afraid to perform” features a rotating crew of lovable misfits known for off-the-wall, character-driven renditions of their omnichord-heavy art-pop songs. Stagefright frequently invites their audience to become part of the show, making every performance totally unique and completely unforgettable! Shrouded in costumes to hide their true identities, the performance is wacky and wild, including leftist political rants and enough sexual innuendos to keep you wet for a week. 18+ only please!
Charlie Mtn. is alt-country love songs from queerdo road dawg and seasoned songwriter John-Allison Weiss. Known for introspective, melodic-yet-gritty songwriting, Weiss came up in the underground punk/alternative scene of the 2010s, cutting their teeth touring the world for nearly two decades. Five years ago they changed their gender, got divorced, and moved into their dad's old Jeep, all while rediscovering a childhood passion for pop country music, and Charlie Mtn. was born. Fans of Johnny’s solo work will recognize the same heartfelt, honest, raw, and catchy-as-hell tunes with just a little extra twang.
