Acting for Singers with Luke Lehner
This workshop focuses on finding the story and performance within a song. The exercises will help you gain more confidence as a singer to take your technique into the world emotions, and even further towards story. The goal is to ‘act your song.’
This workshop does not focus on singing technique.
We will be doing lots of movement exercises inspired by the Michael Chekhov approach to expand your range, and analytical methods utilized by the Chubbuck method to tell a story.
Who can join?
Are already capable singers, or have adequate experience in singing, Have a song prepared (English or Arabic) Once registered into the workshop send us which song you will work on in the workshop.

الورشة دي بتركّز على إزاي تلاقي القصة والأداء جوا الأغنية.
التمارين هتساعدك تكتسب ثقة أكتر كمغني، وتاخد تقنيتك في الغناء لعالم المشاعر، ومنه لمرحلة أبعد وهي الحكاية والقصة. الهدف الأساسي إنك «تمثّل الأغنية».
الورشة دي مش بتركّز على تقنيات الغناء.
هنعمل تمارين حركة كتير مستوحاة من منهج مايكل تشيخوف، عشان نوسّع مدى التعبير عندك، وكمان هنستخدم أساليب تحليل مستوحاة من منهج تشابوك عشان نعرف إزاي نحكي قصة من خلال الأغنية.
مين يقدر ينضم؟
يكون بالفعل مغني كويس أو عنده خبرة كافية في الغناء.
يكون محضّر أغنية يشتغل عليها، سواء بالعربي أو بالإنجليزي.
بعد التسجيل في الورشة، لازم تبعتلنا اسم الأغنية اللي هتشتغل عليها خلال الورشة.
