collage night: snail mail edition
we are so excited to host collage night at designers collab, with a special snail mail theme to inspire our paper crafts for the evening!
join us for a cozy, low-pressure collage workshop where we’ll create artist trading cards (ATCs) using paper scraps, magazine cut-outs, stickers, and other bits and bobs. think handmade treasures and slow, tactile creativity.
this is a space to unwind, cut things up, glue things together, and enjoy the simple joy of making something small and meaningful. you can trade cards, keep them, or tuck them into a letter for a future pen pal.
feel free to bring any other bits and bobs you'd like to use and share with our crafty community. come as you are, we are here to welcome you into your creative headspace so you can use art as a tool for wellness and self-reflection as the new year begins.
no experience needed, just curiosity and a love for paper!!

a buffet of materials including scissors, glue sticks, magazines, (feel free to also bring your own journal, special junk, photos, and ephemera if you have them)

about your host: Alyssa Chin is a creative wellness teacher at art gurl based in NYC! I love spicy food, reading romantasy books, trying out new crafts, finding third places, and connecting with like-minded creatives. Historically a corporate marketing girlie and now a small business marketer & crafty community builder, I'm always trying new hobbies and finding a sense of community in the big city!
