Harriet Lester, a former winner of the OX1 Incubator's Demo Day, associate at the Pioneer Group, and the Founder of Vitaegum will speak, drawing on her operational and investing experience in early-stage biotech ventures.
Currently, she works with founders in drug discovery, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, and therapeutic platforms at the Pioneer Group, the UK and Ireland’s largest investor and operator of life sciences campuses.
She founded the social enterprise Vitaegum, a vitamin infused dental chewing gum that cleans teeth. It provides essential nutrition for refugees and homeless people whilst also improving their oral healthcare. She holds a DPhil in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
