Come play with words! Join The Improv Place for a free Improvised Poetry Workshop on Saturday, August 1st at 2 PM at Seattle Center Armory. Led by Jermaine Trice, we'll turn spontaneous prompts into unexpected verses, riff off each other's lines, and discover the poet hiding inside your inner improviser. No pens, no pressure, no "right" way to do it, just fun, laughter, and words flying off the cuff.
Whether you've never written a poem in your life or you perform spoken word every week, come loosen up, laugh a lot, and leave with some surprisingly great lines you never knew you had in you.
All experience levels welcome. Free with registration.
