βCreate Your Perfect Seoul Night β¨
βA cozy Korean-inspired night of food, creativity, karaoke, and community in Brooklyn.
βThink of it like stepping into your own K-drama episode for a night β trying Korean snacks, eating comfort food, painting something you can take home, singing your favorite songs, playing games, and meeting people who might become new friends.
βI'm half Korean, and my mom immigrated to the United States from Korea over 20 years ago. Growing up, she shared little pieces of home with me through food, family, and the traditions she carried with her.
βSome of my favorite memories are the simple ones:
sharing tteokbokki, opening a new bag of Korean snacks just to see what it tasted like, or grabbing a cold Korean drink from the fridge on a warm day.
βThey weren't big or fancy moments β but looking back, they're some of the ones I treasure the most.
βAs I've gotten older, I've realized how much those little moments shaped me. They made me want to reconnect with my Korean roots and share a piece of that feeling with others.
βThat's how Seoul After Hours came to life. π
βThis isn't meant to recreate Seoul perfectly. It's my own version of the feeling β those nights where you lose track of time, laugh with people you just met, discover something new, and leave feeling a little more connected than when you arrived.
βWhether you're Korean, reconnecting with your own roots, obsessed with K-dramas or K-pop, or just looking for a cozy night to meet new people β you're welcome here. π
