Think of it like stepping into your own K-drama episode for a night — trying Korean snacks, eating comfort food, painting something you can take home, singing your favorite songs, playing games, and meeting people who might become new friends.
I'm half Korean, and my mom immigrated to the United States from Korea over 20 years ago. Growing up, she shared little pieces of home with me through food, family, and the traditions she carried with her.
Some of my favorite memories are the simple ones:
sharing tteokbokki, opening a new bag of Korean snacks just to see what it tasted like, or grabbing a cold Korean drink from the fridge on a warm day.
They weren't big or fancy moments — but looking back, they're some of the ones I treasure the most.
As I've gotten older, I've realized how much those little moments shaped me. They made me want to reconnect with my Korean roots and share a piece of that feeling with others.
That's how Seoul After Hours came to life. 🌙
This isn't meant to recreate Seoul perfectly. It's my own version of the feeling — those nights where you lose track of time, laugh with people you just met, discover something new, and leave feeling a little more connected than when you arrived.
Whether you're Korean, reconnecting with your own roots, obsessed with K-dramas or K-pop, or just looking for a cozy night to meet new people — you're welcome here. 💕

• There is no elevator available
• Guests will need to use stairs to enter the space
• If you have accessibility questions or concerns, please reach out before attending so we can do our best to accommodate
🐈 Cat House Rules
As this is a community shared space with cats, the cats are not party decorations — please treat them with love and respect.
Please:
• Let the cats approach you first
• Do not chase, corner, or force interaction with them
• Do not pick them up unless they clearly want to be held and are comfortable
• Do not feed them anything unless Athena gives permission
• Be mindful of doors opening and closing so our little escape artists stay safe
• Give them space if they’re hiding, sleeping, or having alone time
The cats are hosts too. 🐾 Thank you for helping them feel safe and comfortable.
📸 Photos & Memories
Photos and videos may be taken during the event to capture memories and share future community moments.
Please:
• Ask for consent before taking close-up photos or videos of others
• Respect anyone who does not want to be photographed
• Let Athena know if you prefer not to appear in event photos
🐾 Registration Profile Photo (Optional)
To help create a more welcoming community experience, we encourage guests to add a profile photo to their Luma registration. This helps Athena and other guests recognize who is attending, especially since many people may be meeting for the first time.
A photo is optional — we welcome you whether you have one uploaded or not.
