2 day event at coworking Saturday/Sunday 1pm-6pm
Are you curious about decentralized finance (DeFi) but unsure where to start? Join us for a hands-on learnathon, beginner friendly.
This learnathon is made for aspiring onchain power users. We will not write much code and instead focus on understanding and using existing onchain infrastructure and applications.
There will be two sessions, each 5 hours, from 1pm to 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
What You’ll Learn
This learnathon will be partly based on Berkeley's DeFi MOOC. However, we will be skipping minutia and adding in practical exercises using modern DeFi apps.
In session 1, we'll cover:
Stablecoins
CeFi vs DeFi
Wallet creation and basic security
DEXs & CEXs
Onchain Lending
Blockchain design, rollups, & scaling
Onchain composability
