​Bring your partner, best friend, sibling, flatmate, date or favourite person and prepare to find out how they really see you.
​Coming solo? You’re very welcome. Solo guests can be paired with another participant, so you can meet someone new and paint each other.
​At Paint Your Partner, you’ll sit opposite each other, pick up a brush and attempt a portrait. Will it be surprisingly flattering? Slightly concerning? Completely unrecognizable? That’s part of the fun.
​No painting experience is needed. You’ll get a simple illustrated portrait guide with easy doodle-style steps to help you sketch the face, place the features and build your painting before making it completely your own.
But this is definitely not about creating a museum-worthy masterpiece. It’s about switching off, having a drink, laughing at your artistic decisions and spending some intentional time together.
​Think of it as part painting, part bonding experience, a chance to slow down, look at the person opposite you a little differently, and leave with a memory (and a portrait) you created together.
