Make Your Business Less Dependent on You

A Hands-On Claude Workshop for Owner-Operators

September 16, 2026 | Limited to 15 Owners | Bring Your Laptop

Most small-business owners are asking:

“How can I use AI in my business?”

That’s usually the wrong question.

A better question is:

How much of your business can operate without asking you what to do?

Because in most owner-operated businesses, a surprising amount of the company still exists in one place:

The owner’s head.

How you handle a new inquiry.

How you follow up.

What you say when a client hesitates.

How you deal with an unusual situation.

How you know when something is good enough and when it isn’t.

You know these things instinctively.

But if they aren’t documented, nobody else can reliably use them.

Not an employee.

Not a contractor.

And not Claude.

Which means the business still needs you for things it probably shouldn’t need you for.

That’s what this workshop is designed to uncover.

We’re Going to Build It, Then Try to Break It

This is not a presentation about what AI might be able to do someday.

You’ll bring your laptop and materials from your actual business.

During the workshop, you’ll build a working Claude Project using your own documents, processes, FAQs, client materials, and other business knowledge.

Then you’ll start asking it real questions.

Questions an employee might ask.

Questions a client might ask.

Questions you normally answer without even thinking about them.

Then we’ll do something more useful:

We’ll deliberately try to break it.

We’ll find the questions Claude should be able to answer but can’t.

Every time that happens, you’ve discovered something valuable.

A judgment call that only you know how to make.

A standard you’ve never written down.

A process that exists only through habit.

A decision you make from experience.

In other words, something your business still depends on you for.

Every gap Claude exposes gives you something concrete to document, systemize, delegate, or improve.

What You’ll Actually Do

During the two-hour session, you’ll:

  • Build a Claude Project around your actual business

  • Add real documents and business knowledge

  • Ask it questions you deal with in the real world

  • Test where it performs well

  • Find where it fails

  • Identify the knowledge and judgment still trapped in your head

  • Leave with a clearer picture of what you can systemize or delegate next

You are not coming to watch someone else use AI.

You are coming to work on your own business.

Who This Is For

This workshop is designed for owner-operators.

People running businesses where too many decisions still have to come back to the owner.

Real estate brokers.

Insurance professionals.

Attorneys.

Consultants.

Hospitality and wellness owners.

Professional service firms.

And other businesses where clients are not simply buying a product.

They’re buying your experience, judgment, standards, and way of doing things.

A simple test:

If people in your business regularly have to ask,

“What would you do here?”

this workshop is probably for you.

And if you’ve ever thought:

“I could grow this business if I could just clone myself…”

that is exactly the problem we’re going to work on.

You Do Not Need AI Experience

You do not need to be technical.

You do not need to understand automation.

You do not need to know how to write sophisticated prompts.

You do need three things:

Your laptop.

Real material from your business.

A willingness to work on the parts of your operation that still depend too heavily on you.

What You’ll Leave With

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have:

  • A working Claude Project built around your business

  • Firsthand experience with what AI can realistically take off your plate

  • A clearer view of what your business still relies on you to know

  • A list of processes, standards, and judgment calls worth documenting next

  • A practical next step toward making the business easier to delegate and scale

  • The workshop recording and templates to continue the work afterward

The goal is not to turn your business over to AI.

The goal is to identify where AI can help and where your business still depends on knowledge that has never made it out of your head.

Why I’m Limiting This to 15 Owners

This is not designed to be a 50-person seminar.

You’ll be building while you’re in the room.

You’ll be testing your own material.

And when something doesn’t work, you’ll have the opportunity to get help figuring out why.

Once the room gets too large, that becomes impossible.

So I’m limiting the September 16 workshop to 15 owner-operators.

Bring your laptop.

Bring your business documents.

Build the first version of an AI assistant that actually knows how your company works.

Then find out what it still doesn’t know.

Every gap you uncover is something your business still depends on you for.

Reserve your seat for September 16.
