Introduction to Photography & The Exposure Triangle
After building a strong creative community through our events and sessions, Korrfocus Studio is opening the floor for a hands-on learning experience. This workshop is designed to bring that same energy, community, creativity, and intention, into a space where you can learn, shoot, and grow as a photographer.
We’re proud to present this workshop in collaboration with Boston Amigas, and are excited to partner with such a prosperous, community driven group that continues to create meaningful spaces for connection and growth.
Whether you’re just getting started or looking to finally understand your camera beyond auto mode, this session is built to give you real control over your images.
📸 What This Workshop Covers
This is an introductory photography workshop focused on understanding how images are created.
You’ll learn:
• The Exposure Triangle (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO)
• How to shoot in Manual Mode with confidence
• How focal length (mm) affects your images
• When to use Manual vs Priority Modes
• How to work with natural light & continuous light
• How to make creative decisions instead of guessing
🤝 Networking to Start
We kick things off with an open networking session. Meet other creatives, photographers, and models in the space before we get into the workshop.
🎓 Live Lecture + Breakdown
A structured, in-depth session breaking down photography fundamentals in a way that’s easy to understand and immediately applicable.
📷 Open Shooting Session
After the workshop, the studio opens up for hands on shooting. Apply what you just learned in a real environment with access to lighting, space, and other creatives.
