Rethinking Residential Living: Co-Create Access
Ahmed (founder, Product Shop) built Access to modernize outdated building systems. Better intercoms. Reliable connectivity. Smarter management.
But during our recent Summon The Council session, a bigger opportunity emerged:
People don’t want more tech. They want peace of mind.
What started as a conversation around infrastructure quickly became one about behavior, relationships, and the social layer surrounding residential living.
→ knowing when family or guests arrive
→ deliveries arriving safely
→ how busy shared spaces are
→ activities happening inside the building
→ lightweight signals that make living feel more connected
Access stopped feeling like an entry system and started feeling integral to the building’s social fabric.
So, we’re inviting a small group of designers, architects, building operators, and community-oriented thinkers to explore a more human approach to residential living.
The perspectives in the room will directly shape how Access evolves, especially around the emerging social and communication layers surrounding the platform.
If you’re exploring similar ideas, or feel strongly that residential living needs a rethink, this is for you.
Part co-creation session, part conversation, that may extend into a casual 5à7 to conclude Ahmed's journey on ZERO*NDA.
