About Event

What if a daycare could add new enrichment programs without hiring another specialist, increasing passive screen time, or creating more work for already-busy staff?

This interactive online workshop explores how AI and emerging education technology can help childcare centres expand programming while keeping educators in control and children actively involved.

We’ll look at practical ways technology can support staff-led learning through voice, audio, print, movement, recall, group activities and guided classroom experiences — rather than simply putting children in front of another screen.

We’ll also use language enrichment as a real-world example: could a centre offer meaningful French programming even if it does not have a French teacher on staff? The session will explore what a staff-led model would need to make that possible, including structured activities, training, technology support and classroom reinforcement.

Designed for daycare owners, directors, OSC operators, early-learning leaders and anyone exploring innovation in childcare, the session will cover practical opportunities, limitations and questions centres should consider before adopting AI-supported programming.

Participants will also have an opportunity to discuss the programming challenges they are currently facing and what they would add to their centres if specialist staffing were no longer the main barrier.
